That Declan bloke on ATR thought it was a great move. I was more inclined to think of how many horses has Henderson run in cheek pieces? I couldn't think of any.

Henderson had one running today in 1st time cheekpieces, finished 4th in the 3.10.

He's got a decent 38% trike rate overall and 10/14 when they have gone off favourite. Not too shabby at all.

Our horse running in cheek pieces tomorrow is with Henderson. He uses them for horses that lose focus during the race.

Over how many years are your stats? How many has he run in them over the last year, and has he put them on any Graded horses? |

Gong back over 15 years, in Graded Races with first time cheek pieces just 2/37
 This year his overall stats are 1/10. Same 15 year period shows at 38% strike rate when going off 17/2 or less. and 10/15 when going off favourite, of those just three were in Graded Races with 1 winner, plus 1/1 in a Listed Race. |

We hope it’s proper good ground tomorrow as she really hates any form of cut in the ground. She just can’t get through soft conditions.
Hopefully she can show her Market Rasen form tomorrow. |

Just had a look at her form, five wins on good ground and two from five going right handed, nice price in an open should she oblige, hope you make a packet.

We kept her pretty busy during the summer, because she has to have decent ground, which is why we’re coming here, and she managed to rip a front shoe off at Exeter last time which explains that. This is quite a good race, but she’s fit and well so might as well take her chance. |
