Good luck DG

There's a Royal Ascot winner entered for the juvenile hurdle at Wetherby on Friday, in the Gredley colours too, so one for sageform to look forward to, should Burdett Road take his chance.

Going/Tracks
Good To Soft (Soft In Places)

MILDMAY Course
Hurdle: Good to Soft (Soft in places) (GSt 4.7 on Sun 9:30am)

Chase: Good to Soft (Soft in places) (GSt 4.8 on Sun 9:30am)

Rails: Rails in innermost position. Distances as advertised. Hurdle 1 positioned by cross fence, leaving 2 flights in the home straight.

Low sun could result in obstacle omission at this fixture

From the bha site, I agree the stick readings do look a bit odd. I suppose its where we are when we are pushing a stick into the ground as a guide.

4.8 and 4.7 would be a complete Bog.
Report the dealer October 29, 2023 12:39 PM GMT
I suppose it depends on the length of the stick Grin

Absolutely - a farce. And it keeps happening at Aintree. Surely they can move the card around so that the feature chase of the day is run at the start or end of the card and doesn't have to be ruined by low sun. I know that's not ideal timewise, but it must be better than having the race absolutely ruined. The Old Roan Chase is an important race in the pattern.
