Was there a reason for this lay?

did ewe bet winner?

No. Then again I didnt aftertime backing it, an aftertime stewyb would be proud of, and he would be slagged off for doing so.

Because your posts say lay, not lay and then back them inrunning if bigger price. Think you know the difference.

-------------------------------------------

same as that 5f race at Wolves a couple of years back...

think it was a 1.16 chance...

made the running and you said you traded out around 1.1ish (or something like that)...

you don't have the bottle to let them ride Mr.Hunt ?

It was a good trade. Only thing I would question is likely ability of winner. Dam was 2nd in Irish Oaks.

----------------------------------------------

nope...

didn't have a view on the race Mr.Hunt...

but poached ground mid-October 3 runner race where the second fav is unraced...

i think the best word i can use is 'naive' tbh Mr.Hunt.

Fair few advised it shouldn't be a lay, which is an opinion too rico. Those opinions were right.

As stated before I didn't understand this lay from Rico. Let's look at ALL the possible trap doors. 3 runners 1 unraced. Outsider of 3 system. Other 2 by the chapple-hyams. Soft heavy ground in mid Oct. A flat race. Winner decent breeding. 1-4 shot only 1 run. 40s winner getting 8lbs. In the ground. Games bent. Practically EVERY punter all over the place sticking the good thing in multiples. Bookie intervention. Have I missed anything?

just your bet on the winner...100/1 3 runners must have been fair?

8lb is colt / filly in case you dont understand racing.
By:

No need for that Rico. Was the winner getting 8lbs? 5lbs plus the 3 jockeys allowance in case you don't..... no I will resist.

The betting world don't work like that Rico. For all the reasons I stated. 85 n 50 rated meant little in that race. With weight allowances you could say 85 odd and 60. Who rated him 85 after 1 run? Just someone's opinion. The race was far too dodgy. A minefield. Which was proven.

Where's Gaze? Outsiders of 3 never lose.
