Both seemingly strong in the market for their respective races tomorrow.

Just a bit surprised at the targets. I thought Arabian Crown had too much pace for Arabic Legend at Salisbury, and if anything the runner up might be the one stepping up in trip. Although Arabian Crown's dam stayed well enough, his full sister was best over 7f having been tried over further. The extra two furlongs on soft ground seems like quite a jump. Arabic Legend might be quite an important ride for Sean Levey having just landed a Grade 1 for the same owner. A win might trigger a few more opportunities in the silks.

I thought Arabian crown has looked a strong stayer in all 3 runs and would be suited by another two furlongs although the ground will probably make it a test even though there may not be a strong pace ,for me no better jockey than Buick on the rowley mile, for a group 3 it’s good a good role of honour, double trigger, double eclipse, bobs return,Kew gardens, silver patriarch and twice over some very good stayers amongst those.

Arabic legend looked as though he lacked experience at Salisbury

Yes, he did lack experience, but he had travelled on the bridle (on a wing) on debut before hanging across the track.

Godolphin don't have many, if any, potential Guineas candidates for next year so I am surprised they have ripped up the possibility with this one, and seemingly just decided to go down the Derby route. That Salisbury win over a mile was on quick ground, and he travelled very easily into the lead. He got the jump on the second, and wasn't extending his advantage at the line.

That list of horses are 1m6f+ horses. Very surprised if today's favourite is one of those.

Tricky track Salisbury so understandable on only his 2nd run,not sure twice over would have got 1m6f plus

Arabian Crown looked good, no problem with the trip. Last year I backed Auguste Rodin for the Guineas, but he won the Derby. Not the biggest surprise if history repeats itself with Arabian Crown.

Arabic Legend won when relatively unfancied on debut. Subsequently, well backed when disappointing at Salisbury, and pathetic today when even stronger in the market. A small mirror of the mystery surrounding his stable.

Had no chance Arabic legend in that race, favourites form boosted at longchamp in a group 1 race, as for Arabian crown  was inexperienced no hopers. All the same an interesting take on the form
