Debates on Jockey rides will always be far too subjective , never worth the time and effort posting as you just go around in circles with every poster believing they're correct.

Wtf are you on about. My dad knew him well when he was a younger man than he is now. What's so hard to understand about that? I have only seen one race since Saturday jimnast. I have been rarely betting on it recently and only saw the race in question as I was looking to see how the Skelton horse has looked since last season. I might give it another go once the proper jumps start.

MJK doesn't post about bad rides every day, or anything like. Nobody does. If you were doing that you would be posting virtually every half an hour.

The real puzzle is those who continually turn a blind eye, and go on as if it is some sort of badge of honour. The media are paid to ignore so you can understand why they do it, but the apologists on here?

This is supposed to be a horse racing forum. If you don't like an opinion, you have ample opportunity to disagree, without resorting to personal abuse. 

If you see a bad ride, and feel strongly enough about it, then flag it up, and just ignore any crap.

It's one thing criticising a jockey for a bad ride, quite another suggesting a jockey's riding has contributed to a horse being injured. You must be as clueless as the OP if

Whipping one of the group who watches your posts to pounce after you've disagreed with him/her previously. This is the person who said that De Boinville was as good as any jockey riding. And if you don't agree you'll be pounced upon, however long it takes.

I like STD, he is intelligent and speaks well when interviewed. Also it's nice to see English jockeys doing well amongst the hoards of top quality of Irish jockeys plying their trade over it here. I do have some reservations when backing him on front runners and wish he would ride a little less aggressively and give then a chance to finish the race. Also he can go a bit early and then get caught in the final furlong.

You wouldn't have thought this needed spelling out, but it seems not.

The more mistakes and falls the more chance a horse has of, very sadly, suffering a fatality. We may not agree with them, but the widespread fence modifications haven't just happened by chance.

The clueless bit here is actually believing that every mistake, and every fall is 100% down to the horse. It is of course much easier/convenient to criticise an animal.

STD is one of the best jump jockeys riding at the moment....I think today he proved it once again and he is the backers best friend imo(never say die attitude)......and no, I don't think the current crop of jump jockeys is the worst there's been over the last few decades(as if that's not saying much!)....and I dare to disagree with J Francome's view on that, although he was my favourite jockey when he was riding, as his horsemanship was unparalleled imo.
I just checked that I haven't got my rose tinted specs on.....nope..
