This until recently was a race which produced many multiple winners but this trend hasn't occurred since 2014 when Orphin Des Blins won for the 3rd year on the trot, quite a few won 3 on the bounce, perhaps with an 8 yo winning last year Mr Spex who beat the previous years winner Talent into 2nd, possible the trend could resume.
Two Irish jockeys make the Trip, Paddy Mullins who has fallen from the same horse twice in last 2 runnings in Kaiserwaltzer but defects onto Mr Spex today, Sean O'Keefe appears to have less of a chance on Jet Fighter.
I've reduced the main contenders to Mr Spex, Sacamiro and Lodgian Whistle with the usual suspects Talent, Argano and Santa Klara running for places. Sacamiro is ridden by probably the best jockey for this race in Jan Feltejsek who has won the race 5 times, a strong stayer and i think is the horse with best chance of beating Mr Spex. Was btn into a fast finishing 2nd by the front running Lodgian Whistle over this course earlier on but that was over 5200 metres not the full 5800 metres of the Velka Pardubice.
Record winning trainer and Jockey Josef Vana got Lodgian Whistle after it won that race with his horse Santa Klara in 3rd, knows what it takes to win this so must have a decent EW chance.

Lots of fallers but Jan does it again on Sacamiro 9/2 this am. Front running Lodgian whistle just weakened out of the places 5th i think, Talent ran very well again and i think placed.
Talent got up for 2nd with the rogueish Star 3rd.
Were you able to watch it ? Was it shown on any of the racing channels ?
I looked in the RP and it had nothing written next to the race whereas normally it will say who is showing it - Sky / RUK so I gave up on trying to watch it.

I watched the race live ish, on YouTube on some European station in a Foreign language probably Czech, great coverage, you can see .out of the qualifying races on YouTube as well.
