Only horror film I ever liked was "Carrie" starring Sissy Spacek.

Yeah but i am still scared of the dark.

i think growing up next to a Cemetery never helped the gravestones used to shine in the moonlight i used to cr@p maself.

Went too see this with the mrs to be back in the early seventies. It was a rainy winters night and she wore a duffle coat. Ten minutes into the film the hood on the coat went up and never came down again. Scared the wits out of her.

tbh it frightened just about everybody sh1tless at the time.

Classic Film  , Seen the Exorcist years back ,Was Watchable ,The Omen a very good film

Same here Carrie the only real memorable one , initially saw it in the cinema and when Piper Laurie took 3 kitchen utensils in the chest someone inevitably shouted out loud 180 , took 5 mins for everyone to calm down.

A pretty young John Travolta also starred as Billy Nolan , boyfriend on Nancy Allen who was also in Dressed to Kill with Michael Caine.

Was it an uncensored version Acey? The original film was very scary for the time, played on my mind for quite a while, we were a bit more religious back in the early 70s, the scene where she kept inserting the cross into herself caused quite an uproar i recall.

I never watched it last Night stew so dont know.Wouldn't scare me as much now but at the time grounbreaking stuff.
