He was a class act Donegal , it's my loss that i never saw him live.
must have seen him 8 or 9 times. A few months ago I recovered 4 or 5 of his albums I bought from mums house after her death and brought them down to London. Forgot I had them. Now all I need is a record player!!
Appropriate that Rory should turn up on a racing thread. I saw him several times in town AND saw him, at my local track, Plumpton Racecourse in August 1970. Taste then of course and On the Boards was very popular. Same night as Keef Hartley, another favourite. Forgotten festival Plumpton!!. Still those who were there will remember.
