not every supposedly dodgy result is sinister

drifters win often because people get on wagons, with or without a band, and nags shorten often more than they should

the old saying, dont be afraid of a price is often vindicated, unless charles burns is involved when you will be byrned

very droll - Hayden  Happy

Also discovered that 'Sod's Law' now applies to this Result, too - as ...

- a nagging thought, from deep in my mind, prompted me to check my Records - and I found that I actually threw a Few Quid on DICKIEBURD (when it was Last of 18) Last time out - at Betdair average price of 65.0

Wondered why DICKIEBURD 'rang a bell'  - AFTER it Won TODAY.

I think it was an omen when i saw him on TV last week talking about his old pal Parky who had just passed away, perhaps Craig Lidster and Nick Bradley were putting their finger up to the stewards.
