Unlucky Barstool, only 3 places as its a " World Pool " day at York. The place terms vary from the Standard placepot. They have been posted on here a few times.

What Are The Place Terms on World Pool Bets?
4 declared runners: No place pool.
5 or 6 declared runners: 1st or 2nd (void if less than 4 actual runners)
7-20 declared runners: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd (3 places remain if 5 or 6 runners, void if less than 5 actual runners)

The Placepot and our other multileg bets won’t be commingled. The Tote Exacta is another pool which will only be available to UK bettors.

According to my bet slip with benny hill my 4th in the first race is a loser. So out.

I'm confident that if your remains selections are placed you'll get paid out.

With Hills, that does sometimes happen that a place looks like a loser.
It's just a kink in their system.

World Howsyerfathers is only applicable on win and place pools in the world pool (unlike on the first day they tried it a couple of years ago when they didn't have time, so they said, to set up a dual pool system, and placepots were fooked = hell to pay)

All usual pissspot rules currently apply.

OK Shearer, I took the info from the Totes own website, look at my 16-07 post. If what you say is true and Makanah was classed as being placed the whole thing is a shambles. Wheres Berksy ? I'm sure he can explain.  ( not)

go and look at Totes totals for 1st  race and add Makanah to the points

  Not to me it wasnt Slippy, nor the Totes own update website, not saying you are wrong, just saying anyone looking at that and only seeing 3 horses in the result would throw their tickets away on the fourth.

Adding up the totals it seems Sonny Liston is declared a winner for pp purposes, Totelive website is very misleading for simpletons like me.
