If you click on the Timeform comments for the US racing you can find a few beauts.
My favourite is - put in a good piece of work the other day. I would fkin hope so. Jesus. And what actually qualifies as a good piece of work? What is mr Timeform expert seeing that equates to a good piece of work? There’s no supporting evidence for this. Just random guy thoughts imo. They also have a habit of talking up a horse and completely bashing it at the same time or vice versa like… Won last 3 in hand and leading jockey takes over in the saddle but on ratings doubt he can trouble these. On a losing streak and well beaten last time but class drop and a good piece of work the other day. chance is there for all to see. Covering all bases lol Haven’t made these up…have a look through them on here in the various markets and you’ll see. |

But Cartmel is by far and away the main signpost track in the collection, Stick Toffee Pudding, Priory, Woodside, Grammar School Bend and Hoiles (and it's always Hoiles), was chucking another one in every call last time, which I can't recall now but had me throwing house bricks at the telly at the time. And can somebody please tell Owen to stop saying "rowed along" - It sounds like "being rode along" which grinds the teeth to dust grammatically, (unless of course he is saying "rode" and is just saying it wrong, (or wrongly - sorry barstool).. |
