As dusty says though, he got the major topic of the day "AC checks" spectacularly wrong, thought that it was all a storm in a teacup and scaremongering!!!!

Doesn't make him a bad person though, I hasten to add

Management was alright and although I disagreed with him now and again he was never unpleasant.

By:
He was always unpleasant, don't remember seeing a pleasant post from him.

TM is like Rico in a way , in that he doesn't suffer his perception of fools gladly.

By:
Just look at the posters who dislike TM. That tells you everything.

You can’t really have an opinion unless you meet them on course, hence the Q I asked regarding this on another thread
Example I have met happyhibby on a few occasions,an absolute gent, also pieman another decent guy…. |

Have you ever in the history of this forum been wrong? Uncanny innit? For a kick off, I never knew, saw posts by happysandwich nor cared a rats ass about anyones selections, because all that trivial tripe is petty pointless filth that morons get involved with. As for the bigger issues, I think I was vindicated. TM and the likeminded sorts who supported the premise of AC on the basis that anything believed to be against bookies is good, are thick conts. Nowhere did it ever say bookies would be held accountable for limiting customers that won; the idea that this would be beneficial to punters was always a total fallacy, and majorly vindictive by empty headed sour socialist handwringers. Nor did it ever separate gaming from gambling, indeed it used gaming as the headline act to attack gambling, yet some still followed it like rats followed the piper. It was never going to help those dimwitted enough to not help themselves either, just impact those majority numbers who never had a problem. Now we see the GC artificially discrediting wins (really? Where losses would be permanent, wins would be transitory….what the fk point is that? It’s the single most stupid suggestion ever been made) but hey that’s what happens when the state leans on the regulator threatening them with dissolution until they do something jester like to please power, and the dumb conts either said nowt or criticised those who opposed it. It would certainly be an irony if TM had been forced out…but even if he hasn’t yet, odds are he soon probably will be. |

He did get AC's wrong and he'd prolly double down on it. Few smart people on this forum back track, regardless of further evidence. He has made some very good points on other stuff though, that I hadn't initially considered.

I don’t ever recall reading any of these other threads he appeared on, I simple am not interested.
As for freedom to do those things, I totally agree, doesn’t mean I don’t find it all pointless. It should be for the person to decide whether they do stuff or not, not other people. To that extent TM can have his opinion, but he and his friends need to realise the dangers of getting it wrong. |

Just to confirm, I am very much alive and well.
As per my explanation on a very similar thread, at this time last year, I take 4 weeks at this time every year to visit my children that are based in Canada and the States. Thanks for the kind/supportive comments from the vast majority, it's quite humbling to see such a fine list of forum names showing their support. On the other hand, As kenbo pointed out: - "Just look at the posters who dislike TM. That tells you everything". A much shorter list - but very telling in it's composition imo. Thanks again and Good Luck (to most of you!) |

i didn't even notice he was gone ffs Yeah, that would tally with only 26% of the posts on this thread being from posters with the word "ace" in their forum name. ![]() ![]() |

welcome back waste management. would have expressed my heartache as others have done but i was so distressed at your mis-reported demise i was unable to post, such was the flood of tears that washed away my keyboard
it was bit odd that having a mini-row with jolly butty could result in suspension. seemed innocuous but you can never be sure as there are some small-minded posters who will remain nameless (leafy, e t) that cannot resist trying to get even the most harmless affable forumite removed if they are bested in argument hard to credit such wanchors inhabit an adult gambolling forum |

Thank you mitolo. I am touched and impressed that you have been able to string a paragraph together, a full 6 hours after the pubs have opened! The respect is reciprocated.
