I stand corrected - always getting the two mixed up ....
Must be all the anticipation and excitement of working out who is i which regional team - like .... Why was a recent Michael Bell (Newmarket) Runner, and Winner, at Yarmouth, racing for Osbornes 'Wales & the West 'team, or something similar. ![]() |

I've got a 2023 fixture list that I downloaded early this year and none of the Sunday Series meetings were in that list. Which suggests to me that they had to get agreement from ITV as to which Sundays they could be fitted into their schedule, at which point a clash like todays was always possible.

WHY would anyone go to Chester when Haydock is on?
Unless you have a horse running is the only answer I can think of. |

Much prefer Haddock to Chester personally

Hard to forgive Haydock for destroying their old, knots in the stomach, steeplechase course, and hard to forgive Chester for selling out to the cult audiences. What I will add is if going for a pre or after race pint Chester wins hands down. With Haydock you have to walk into the uninspiring Ashton In Makerfield, whose claim to fame is producing the NUM President, Joe Gormley.
