There does seem to be hundreds,even radio stations are becoming bookmakers.

Thanks longbridge,every time I watch racing on tv from different tracks I notice advertisements for a betting firm that I have hardly heard of,and now a radio station.

Have said it before, but I find it amazing so many companies are able to operate simultaneously - is betting such a growth industry? Would not have thought so. They have barely any USP most of the firms that would take bets either.
I do however recognise that is a rather large pile of closed companies too, even some with bigger 'names' in the betting sector. |

I find it hard to imagine the type of punter:
I don't really bet that much, but I've suddenly (randomly) seen this one tiny bookie that is obscure in amongst the other 100s of bookies and huge chains advertised everywhere, but I really want to open an account and bet with this tiny online firm specifically... enough of them around to sustain the businesses..?? |

Should just add, I realise there is the initial signup offer issue, but that is hardly any good for long term custom, so doesn't explain that...
