Had several emails regarding this and they seem to be giving racegoers a fair deal with a ticket costing only £25 giving access to all six fixtures. They also had tickets for £21 which included entry,a beer, wine or soft drink, traditional pie and a race programme, these have sold out, a pint cost me £6.74 when I went a couple of months ago so it seems like tremendous value for ordinary/first time racegoers.

Never been a fan of ARC but it appears they have listened to the ordinary punter and given some of what is called for, they sold out a couple of weeks ago.I know many on here are not fans of the League concept and I was sceptical at the start. However the racing has been competitive with good size fields and I have done ok betting on them so not so sceptical as I was, preferable to small fields and uncompetitive races imo.

My main point is though,if ARC can see what attracts the ordinary/casual racegoer why can't the rest see where the market is instead of promoting cross dressing inclusivity and all the other cr@p Racing For Change proved was a waste of time?

Fixtures are July 27 – Yarmouth, August 10 – Chepstow,August 17 – Windsor,August 31 – Newcastle,September 7 – Wolverhampton,September 13 – Southwell.
I doubt if anyone would attend all those fixtures given the geographical spread but link is within https://www.racingleague.uk/

Missing a trick not selling merchandise for each team Wink.

I get that few will attend them all but at least they are offering something more than most manoleeds? Even their Premier enclosure is sold out for their Ladies Evening next week, they have a DJ set after racing so I suppose that could account for some of the bookings but most just going for the music probably just buy the basic entry. They should be careful imo as they say in their missive "Experience the style",not sure many would want to experience Yarmouth ladies "Style"!! lol

We might even visit for the League night just to see what it is like and to escape the brutal weather here if it carries on,already 44c on the veranda. They also mention some sort of interactive racing league though no idea what that is about, deleted the mail by accident.
