Why didn't Varian exploit Embesto's mark of 97 in a valuable handicap? he's just gone up to 108 after his run the other day.
That looks a bit harsh IMO he's already got beat in a handicap off 89 although I supposed he's unexposed over extended trips.
Embesto was only having his 3rd run and although well beat by the winner was getting beat by a horse who has pretensions of being a proper top notch group 1 horse.
