Anyone watch it?   Messy start but at other end  oss number 1 looks like it won, went 1.01, photo called, oss 4 quickly called winner ,stewards inq lasted all of 3 mins, result official.Very odd photo produced, shows oss 4 a short head clear winner even though official winning distance is a nose,.
The angle in the photo of horse four suggests to me there was a problem with the camera ect  but the speed with which the result was called and race wrapped up was slightly concerning. If I had done my doe at 101 I would want answers, tbh I don't ever bet ir in the states but they don't get many wrong and never seen one beaten like this un, of course jockey on oss 1, lol but still looked winner to me.
Oss four doesn't look like it's in same race as oss 1 in photo , anyone see this race or care to explain?

Just watched it, looked like 4 got up quite easily to me though can see why the 1 was backed to 1.01 in the run as it was a sprint and it had a good neck lead 50yards out. Not seen the photo.

Cheers, yea in the cold light of day it always looks diff. Photo is on the mountaineer Park website. It's the angle of the horse but the tech has a habit of producing visual oddities

have you a link for the photo?

I don't and can't seem to access it on mountaineer Park website but I took a screenshot, that's not easy to upload , at least for me. Will try and find it online.

I'd have been confident the 4 got up to win , the lighting wasn't great, maybe that affected the photo appearance.

4 won, just about. camera angle during the race makes it seem like the inside is further ahead than it actually is

Yea, camera work not the best, lighting and angle, prob why 101 boys got spanked.                 Throw in its late and tbh my Internet has been very poor lately and causing extra grief, making site very sticky.

Agree the 4 wonned.

from pre race parade, to going behind, going in its all  class, all races run left handed, similar tracks, bigger saddle cloth numbers, oss 1 comes out of stall 1 ect, generally race from gate no poncing about, better coms (wouldn't be hard),better prize money, your betting on a race being run not a race being run to bet on.

Ect ect ect...

I always find with many of the American racecourses that photos usually favour the near side if its a close thing.

those horses are running for 10 times what they'd get here for winning a seller at the old Southwell and they wouldn't make the frame there. Wake up UK.

No but I sayed stateside, anyway I like my US racing, like the coverage on here and enjoy it. Aus racing is  a diff animal again, can't fathom it or the  horses at all.
