Lowest price its ever been in a race today! Going for 3rd group 1 in 6 weeks. Up in trip 2furlongs and furthest its ever raced. Out of its own age range Group company. Might win but surely  Emily is better bet?

I think she'd be a shorter price if Dettori was riding her.

AOB stated Paddington is heavier than Ascot. Get on the filly. AOB has unwittingly given us a tip against his own charge.

Think Emily main target is The ARC.
Think The Paddington winning machine is set to continue.
Not very Original but gets weight for age Ryan in flying form..... all aboard Cool

Buick needed to make it stronger test not a sprint to finish. However thats par for course with Buick

He's got an awkward head carriage when the pressure was on then, hadn't really noticed it before.

Track position won race.

Would like to see Emily ahead, and see
if Paddington could go past.

Would Dettori have done better? Emily Upjohn was 3l behind Paddington with 6f to go. A bit to much distance to allow Paddington perhaps.

Weight for age argument again.

Backed the winner and am glad Dettori wasn't on the second as imop he would've made the difference. I could picture him challenging away from the winner and with one quick dash. Buick basically just waited for Moore to move before he did.

Quite disappointed with Buick,( Frankie would have won it!) but when will they stop this weight for age nonsense, particularly at this stage of the season. EJ was giving far too much weight away, especially to a colt.

yep too much wfa from 4yo to 3yo but also too much from colts to fillies

Surely a mile and half horse is not going to travel like a miler through the race, small margins win races

Minor point, but good to see Ryan Moore hesitate on the last whip strike to go over the limit.

This is head to head G1 battle up a hill with great horses, so whingeing jockeys saying they can't count in the heat of battle
don't have much of an argument.

He'll win the Sussex if he goes there. Juddmonte International against Mostafdah, Desert Crown, Emily Upjohn or King Of Steel? A much taller task.

exactly, so much p1sh in this thread about how a 1.5 mile horse should be ridden against faster horses.

can't ditch it after 150 odd years - we'd have no way of measuring who are the true greats

Best horse won on the day pure n simple....
Very progressive n tough as old boots...Seriously good horse.

All pocket talkers keep the faith with Emily back at 1m4 with the hood on she is a very good filly. Westover did the form no harm in France. Cool
