The Racing Post used to keep track of its tipsters, although results were not generally published and I do not know if they still do. Johnny Dineen has not been with the Racing Post that long; his column grew out of his Upping the Ante appearances. It is not always clear whether Dineen is tipping a horse or just giving it a favourable mention; it is not a classic tipping column in that sense.
