Gaze, you got lucky there with that lay advice and with no reasoning provided btw. There comes a point when even the most tolerant on here have had enough, and that includes me. Since I have got in from work I have enjoyed reading most of the posts about the racing today....it has been a healthy exchange of views without any nasty slagging off of those who express an opinion on a race that differs from others.
You seem to have a skin like a rhino and to enjoy it into the bargain.... so my advice would be to have a good look at yourself and reflect, and in future only start threads when you have something that the seasoned punters on here will find just a tad interesting

"It was 13lb higher than the win at 8f and this field had 20 more runners. Only megamugs would back 10/1."
You had ample opportunity to add that to your opening post....10 mins before the race.....you really let yourself down by "anonymously" calling myself and others "megamugs" for backing him......not that it would have have made any difference to me anyway. There are others on here who make me stop and think.....and you're not one of them.

Mate...it's like giving a kid the chance to redeem themselves over and over again to change course......unfortunately in some of those cases they just don't listen, and you just have to eventually cut them loose....that's you Gaze.

So the main criterion for the lay of the day were:
1. It was 13 pounds higher than its win at 8f
2. The field was comprised of more than 20 runners
So the fact that the winner was 14 pounds higher than its previous win at 8f was of no consequence?
Shirley it was a bigger lay of the day using said approach.

Yes leif but the winner was a steaming fav, favs above 4/1 are extremely hard to lay. You have to be right more than 80% that the best horse will lose. I am the megaking of lays and even I have trouble laying favs above 4/1.

Maybe you're in the loop Freddie and in the know......Betfair should huckin step up to the plate and restrict anyone on here to just one username and one account, no matter who they are(delete all the other accounts)......only then will the thousands/hundreds?, with an account have the confidence to step forward and contribute more on here imo.
