its like knocked up in someones shed, not tested and some who were due to go on refused , scaffold poles for ballast and gorilla tape and plastic tye wires, toilet with curtain for privacy,talk about taking risks it just wasnt safe

it baffles me in this day and age of technology that there cant be some kind of device saying exactly where it is, instead of being totally lost. or at least have some chord inside that when pulled would inflate and bring it to the surface.

Correct, going up Everest achieves very little now, but people do it for personal reasons.
What doesn’t happen as you have alluded to by the number who die trying, rescue teams don’t abandon everything to search for them. Perhaps a couple of helicopters and a team of Sherpas or they simply wait for the weather to change to collect the bodies months later. People can do what they want, but when it goes wrong don’t expect to get bailed out. The point is them going down on the Titan achieves little either other than creating self indulgent cocktail stories. |

Yes, only the voyeuristic with big pockets need apply.
You either have a ‘for profit’ organisation that waivers certification and licensing but accepts they are dead on any problem that happens. Or you do gain certification the official way, pay the license and tax and get the help from where it’s appropriate. At present they have a foot in each aisle, while avoiding responsibility having had customers sign their life away. |

Eye agree salmmy, there's defo been more tasteless, but perhaps nothing much colder.. Being wealthy and/or taking risks hardly means we shouldn't sympathise over that type of fate. IF it was known pond scum down there(known violent felons with any number of crimes against decent people) then fair enough, we could even be forgiven by any god for eating popcorn wishing we had a livestream from inside that little sub, but these people are NOT those types of worthless scum who present constant threat to the GP.
