Impossible for Hart to get Highfield Princess past in last furlong with that sustained intimidation by Bradsell for a chunk of the last furlong. Didn't llok like Highfield was going to win anyway, but any other country probably the result would get changed.

Hart needed to make more of deal out of when riding, he seemed to let it happen.

Think it was the right outcome but don't think Hart did enough in the last half furlong to close the gap and make it a really difficult decision for them.

Didnt think he could tbf mjk but think overall a poor ride.. no decisiveness ..left it without cover then non plussed in the saddle and weak in the finish it was allowed

No surprise it didn't happen, but I would have liked to have seen that kicked out even though it was a 3/4 length margin. Stewards hid behind the margin. Doyle often looks untidy in a finish, and I suspect that was little more than a token gesture to keep it straight. At one stage the horse had looked to be drifting the other way. The margin was 3/4 length purely because Highfield Princess had no grass to run into. That just made it look like she wasn't closing. With a clear run I think she would have got back up.

Irrespective of what happened at the end Hart sat still for too long on a horse that stayed the trip strongly.
