Can some sage forumite tell me the correct age of this horse? The RP have it listed as being a 3yo, but Irishracing.com have it down as a 4yo.

Sportinglife has:
COOLANGATTA
My Stable
Age    4 (Foaled 23rd October 2019)

Thanks JPSER. What is interesting with the Sporting Life listing is that on the racecard they have the horse down as being a 3yo as well. It's only when you click on the horses name for more details that it relays the info that you have kindly posted. I will assume the foaling date is correct.

Would have assumed that the horses details all came from the one source, Weatherbys. Why there is an anomaly between outlets is slightly baffling.

It’s because they breed differently down under…the weirdos.

I remember a couple years ago Donnacha had one that was born in December so had to transfer to Australia because she had no chance in Europe with the weight for age.

They count the birthdays differently down there…the weirdos.

It’s like when we send a 3 year old to the Cox Plate and they have to lump weight because it isn’t fair on their 3 year olds who are all still babies at that time of the year…the weirdos.

I'd forgotten that ELG. What a bunch of flamin drongos.

chirst there is a lot of pace on that rail for the King Stand and then you got Desert Cop and Braswell just inside the rail that can only go from the front to have a chance. A closer will have no excuses drawn in single figures

I see this goingt 1 of 2 ways. Something wins easily from front. Or its a total pace collapse and a strong stayer with form on slowish ground comes from back to get up. Wouldnt put anyone backing big outsiders in this

Is the ground soft?
