Have you seen this show? If so, how did you rate it?
1 star = poor 2-3 stars = middling 4 stars = very good 5 stars = excellent
When I think of 5 star shows I'm thinking of The Sopranos, The Wire, The Shield, Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul, Game of Thrones(- final season debacle) etc.. IMO LastKingoftheCross doesn't live with those types, but eye found it compelling enough viewing to hand it easy 4 stars. Tim Roth's performance as the quietly crazed, aloof chief.. is quite tremendous.
10ep mini series inspired by actual goings-on inside Sydney's seedy Kings Cross back in the day. Originally aired "officially" on Paramount+ this year(17thfeb to 14thApr).. can now be found "unofficially" on a few file share/streaming sites: Including the 2 below..
its on sky. havent watched it yet..........how anyone can put the wire up there with sopranos and breaking bad is beyond me. season 2 on the docks was good but the other seasons, bang average.

I’ve seen it advertised on Sky. I might give it a try. Coincidentally I recorded Chopper the other night and put it on yesterday. I’d not watched it for years. A super performance from Eric Bana.

Chopper is a magnificent film, I've seen it many times and it never disappoints.
As regards the "Kings Cross" series. That grabbed my attention for two reasons as I lived there for a couple of months many years ago so know the area very well and also Tom Roth, as well as being an excellent actor, he lived three doors down from me growing up as kids in South London and our Mum's were friends.
I thought the first episode was perhaps mediocre at best but perservered for the next one and more of the same I thought and left it at that. Most of the reviews seem to be quite positive on the whole but it wasn't for me.

Disagree, brainy. Thought each season of The Wire was equally brilliant.

bluey, never heard. Will give them a shot.
