go anywhere near it - paddys giving you under the odds (you said he could) and immediately greening himself up in-house. fairly blatant but he knows he can treat 'normal' exchange players with disdain as he's operating within a framework with very little governance. |

As far as I can see (I played with it when first launched) it just puts your bet in a couple of ticks below the prevailing price and lets best price execution do its thing.
If anyone has evidence that it matches at a price below the best on offer, that would be concerning, but it's not what I saw. |

I'm all for it. The chance to match people at two ticks below the price they think is value is basically a punter's Holy Grail.

I've only seen it on the mobile app, rico. My Account - Settings - Price options.
I've disabled it, but it still sometimes pops up anyway. A distraction you don't need when you're at the races and you're trying to place a bet on the phone while looking at the horses and the Post at the same time. |

If you're an in-running punter, the Keep Bet button has long afforded the option to hoover up mug money; it's nice that Betfair are now offering the same opportunity to pre-race punters. |
