Felt like a country racecourse before that went up.  Don't they think about the pull of getting away from bricks and concrete or is there new towns planned to be viewed from the Goodwood and Hexham tracks ?

Blackwell is a lovely village. Last time I was there it still was a 'country style' racecourse. Whats your problem?

Jinxy I've often heard it said you can't see a building from the Goodwood stands. If people say that they must like it. This new development looks a real eyesore to me. Sure many will agree if they ever see it. TV pics in running it's not seen.

There's apparently a housing crisis, yet ghastly housing, blighting the landscape is popping up all over the parts of the country that can be developed, yet we are importing 1.2 million people a year (that we know about), and the additional illegal ones from the Calais Yacht Club currently living in central London aren't satisfied with their free accommodation, wifi and pocket money after two years.

The highly remunerated, highly educated, highly skilled blob manage to process an obviously vexatious asylum claim at a rate on about one a week, once they have figured out the wrinkled, baldy middle aged bloke is not a child. Not that processing a claim changes anything, as a millionaire lawyer paid by us will think of another bizarre reason why they won't have to be returned home.

Over 5 million people of working age who are natives are so comfortable on benefits that they don't even need to consider looking for a job.

1 in 7 households that have at least one person of working age have nobody of working age in employment, yet there are more job vacancies than there has ever been.

Oh yes and our wonderful government are funding the stop oil / animal liberation freak and nutter pink hair collective, who want to ruin our entire way of life, by proxy.

Go figure.

I think he was pointing out why they can ask over half a million for what you term a monstrosity in the North of England.
