When I ask for a price in the place market, suddenly somebody asks for 1 tick less
welcome to the powers £108 party Gazey. help yourself to some canapes and a glass of Krug Grande Cuvée. |

1) If Paddy was shadowing anybody, don't you think he would pick a winning account?
2) If the price is right/wrong or even just a bit "gappy" - Everybody wants their bet at the front of the queue - including several thousand bot operators. Why would you think that you had a God-given right to stay at the front of the queue with your bad value offers? 3) Are you sure it's not somebody from Mensa or the DHSS that is shadowing you? |

Crikey Paddy following Gaze & Hulk now , who'd have thought.
God help him in a two horse race when the two sharp minds fancy different horses , he'd have to shut up shop for the day ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() . Not bright enough to realise if theres a gap in the market your going to get botted(queue jumped). Happens to us all. They think they have a divine right to get matched @ the price they request. and everyone else should wait in turn. Its not a queue @ the chippy FFS. |

apologies the management didnt read yer post but clearly thinking on the same lines. which appears difficult for some.

So let's say the gap is 3.0 and 3.4 in a place market coming up in two hours. I want to back 3.2 and a second later someobody/bot asks for 3.1. Why didn't the bot want 3.1 before that? It just happened to ask for one tick less 2 second after me as a coincidence?

arny person who wood hopefully shadow gaze is freddie kruger.

Imagine a company worth billions shadowing hulk & gazes 30 guesses per day

IMO the person would have more success following his actual shadow.

So - maybe the bot was asking for 3.4 before you jumped in front of him, and now he has seen he is not at the front of the queue and has jumped you? - maybe the bot doesn't get involved until the spread is below a certain value and you have just closed the spread to one he's happy to come inside? - why are you assuming this is BF when - as TM says - there are hundreds if not thousands of people running automated betting strategies? - what do you imagine would be the value to BF of BF doing this? |

The 2TBP price for Lieutenant Rascal was 1.65, I asked for 1.68 and a second later the price dropped to 1.54. I should just take whatever is on offer I guess.

Hulk and Gaze must be only two people who've not heard that bots exist on the exchanges...?
They act automatically based on money entering and leaving markets, it doesn't need any Mulder and Scully investigation to work it out. |

stu. stop being a thick cnt ffs of course there are bots. question is this - is it fair that paddy is using a bot on here, which he unquestionably is (the £108 bets are his. i think i've proven that), given that he has access to a wealth of information that joe public, and his bot, does not have ? ask your mate rico ... he also seems to know paddy's hard at it |

Bookies are scumbags. Any advantage to be gained bookies will deploy to achieve that even their grandmothers - if they could get away with it - for a quick profit; bookies are very self-entitlement oriented.

By:
I've just adjusted my algorithm , instructed the BOT to ignore all Hulk & Gaze bets.

Just read and enjoyed this thread. Some on here are beyond belief. Anyway, I enjoyed some of the ripostes, my favourite so far being.............
Geoff's "It's not a queue at the chippy ffs". ![]() ![]() |
|
By:
Although not a riposte, this made me giggle............"Also I place backed Matloob to place second at 3.4 and it moved to 3.1 despite his win price being 8.2 before and after"
|
|
By:
I've just adjusted my algorithm , instructed the BOT to ignore all Hulk & Gaze bets.
problem with that hayden, is your bot can't differentiate between individual accounts / bets paddy's can ... and a whole lot more. because he has access to all sorts of information you've not got. so is that a level playing field .... probably not ? |
|
By:
if you see £450 looking to get on one at 5.3
you might think, wow. someone fancies that. but paddy knows £448 of that is house money. and someone wants 2 quid on it. |
|
By:
Someone fancies one if 450 looking 5.3
Jeez . How many people are trading or backing in one race |
|
By:
Hundreds
|
|
By:
hulk, I know you believe all this, but nothing that I have seen that you have posted proves to me your assertion that this money is "Paddy's" nor how you believe doing so is profitable for "him".
|
|
By:
nobody can 'prove it' bridge. paddy knows that. the regulation isn't fit for purpose and nobody at kpmg, for all they can do a cashflow statement and a balance sheet, has a clue about the exchanges, never have. if i said to you i'm placing 25 bets tomorrow, i want you to stick a £108 bet into the market one tick under or over mine in order to move the market away from my bet. you would immediately say how do i know which bets are yours ? answer is, you don't. nobody does. except paddy.
unfortunately, that gives the game away as to who is placing those bets. in my opinion ![]() |
|
By:
the £108 that appeared wanting on at 5.2 when i put money up looking for 5.3 at the start of that 3 mile chase.
(a) you normally only see £5's, £8's at that stage of a long race and (b) it just happened to be £108 ?? seriously ? you believe that ?? you didn't know that was me at 5.3, nor did rico, nor did swaddle, nor did freddiewilliams. nor did anyone ... ... except paddys bot |
|
By:
hulk, the most boring poster ever to frequent the forum

paddys lucky i didn't record that. guarantee 100% it happened.

flukes. nice one
![]() when you grow a pair of balls and start betting in big boy amounts paddy might start giving a fk about you too. no offence ![]() |
|
By:
So hulk, if I brought my laptop over to your place and we sat side-by-side, then when you placed your bets, you'd be undercut or the magic £108 would appear, but if I placed the same bets that wouldn't happen?
Have you ever tried a similar experiment? It would be a fun one, I think? Also, why you? What makes you special that a £1bn revenue betting company stalks your betting in a pattern unique to you? You know I am sceptical of your claims; no personal offence meant. |
|
By:
don't mind you being sceptical bridge. not one bit.
i'd be sceptical too. why me ? good question. i'll let you into a secret. paddy doesn't like trading so .... ... the money i put up at the start of the chase. that was the second part of a trade (the other part was matched pre-off). if it had been matched i was all green. so paddy's bot stuck £108 in front of me to stop me being matched. or at least to make it much more difficult. the trouble there was, there was fk all money on the entire interface and unlike pre-off, it stuck out like a massive sore thumb. but the bot doesn't have feelings of "what will it look like" or "if i stick that in front of him he's going to fking notice and tell the entire forum whats going on" like a human would. that make it any clearer ?? |
|
By:
You can all ridicule hulk and gaze till the cows come home(some more than others in order to appear soooo smart.....just for a change, and seem to get off on it), but hulk in particular on this topic has made valid points, based on his experience, and you can't prove that he is wrong. Nothing about either of them believing they are soooo special, as has been suggested imo.
