The south Wales police and crime commissioner, Alun Michael, had claimed the riots were sparked by false “rumours” of police involvement in the boys’ deaths.
Later, CCTV footage emerged appearing to show a police van chasing two boys on an e-bike just before 6pm on Monday.
Ch Supt Martyn Stone said: “We’ve received CCTV footage that shows a police vehicle following a bike just prior to 6pm. South Wales police has also made a mandatory referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct to ensure the matter receives independent scrutiny.”

I've seen pictures of em in gangsta poses tbf, certainly not boy scouts.
The PACC Lying through his teeth would be more of a worry to me than a couple of young children ( gangster poses or not)

It is a strange part of human nature that the way to protest about injustice is to smash up the property of your own community. This can only make things worse as the money that could be used to address your concerns will be spent clearing up and repairing the damage.
Imagine sitting with the family and a crowd of toilets setting fire to the family car and bricks and stones belting the windows….
