Didn't realise those atrocities were on same date, wonder if it has some significance.

You would have to think it’s a possibility Stewart’s,like you I hadn’t realised they both fell on the same date until today when I was talking to someone I didn’t know ,you would have thought the bbc or itv might have mentioned it somewhere along the way.

Ended up meeting a certain trainer who got me into the owners and trainers with free food etc , one he fancied got beat ,enjoyable enough day only got the last winner thought I wasn't going to get one . I'd say its a place that could get very boring if a regular player there. Anyway  only F. L..left to do now..

27/08/79 indelible jimnast, too easily forgotten to this generation perhaps as yesterday becomes their history, literally.

It is the way now jimnast sadly, every year for a long time I asked on here if anyone knew who trained Karens Star who won on that day,Bank Holiday Monday.I got my answer last year courtesy of Anorak and some other kind soul.

That might seem trivial but was only a small part of why the day is indelible, like the families of those you mention, impossible to forget and the pain never stops.

As workrider has intervened on this Thread - with a self-indulgent 'off topic' ...

- will he now return to the Thread - to, unilaterally, DEFEND the homeland in the above Date's Disastrous 'topic'. Cry

Lee was just a young white drummer,in times of conflict he would also have been a stretcher bearer.I spent time at Woolwich doing a KAPE tour when pubs were bombed and the perceived enemy were our own countrymen.

Even they get favourable coverage as if they never did anything wrong,Stephen Lawrence any more deserving than a young white man willing to give his life serving his country in the name of freedom?
