Stable is in form and tomorrow Mr Hannon launches 10 runners for a Thursday.
2.05 Sailsbury - Liv my Life - Ridden By Dane 'O'Neil (8/1 Best Price) - 5 rivals. Previously Ran over course and Distance, Finishing 2nd to Matters Most whom was also having 2nd run, having placed at Newbury previously. Debut run hasnt worked out. Favourite form has been franked and was a clear cut winner of that Bath Maiden. The 2nd fav will have conditions totally different to debut, but form has also been franked. The weight receipt and course experience are the positive to consider, but form wise could have work to do.
2.25 York - Aristia - Ridden by Richard Hannon (9/2 Best Price) - 7 Rivals. 3rd highest rated runner in this years renewal and went well in this race 12 months ago when 2nd to Lilac Road having the run of the race. The winner that day was consistent throughout the year and this years renewal looks potentially stronger race and likely to not get the chance to dictate. will give running as very genuine.
2.35 Sailsbury - Mr Baloo - Ridden by Dane O'Neil (12/1 best price) & Christian David Ridden by Jim Crowley (9/1 Best Priced). The hannon Pair face up against 4 rivals here. Dane O'Neil rides Mr Baloo who has had a previous outing at Newmarket when first beaten in the rear and running green as Grass. Form of Newmarket race is strong with 2 of the runners winning making all in good fashion. Will have improved from debut and wasnt totally unsupported on debut starting 8/1. Christian David with Jim in for the spare ride, Market sure to be conclusive.
3.45 Sailsbury - King Sharja - Ridden by Dane @Oneil (12/1 Best Priced). another for Hannon at Sailsbury which he has a good strike rate at. Dane is in the for the ride again and this one is a recovery mission for strong owners having ran so poorly last time at Ponte. The York form doesnt look great form either and this could be a decent race.
4.55 Sailsbury - Graham - Ridden By Dane O'Neil (14/1 Best Priced) - best run was on return from the 4 runs to date. Showing some headway and doing a little to much to soon as weakened in the ground. Likely to be fitter for that run and should also enjoy the better ground conditions over this longer trip
5.20 York - Great Bedwyn - Ridden by Hollie Doyle (40/1 Best priced) - Seems best on artificial surface having showed little LTO @ Newmarket in a 0-95 that hasn't proven to be anything then sub standard for the grade. be surprised if the form is turned around by 25lbs to win this.
5.45 Newmarket - Zabbie - Ridden by Alec Voikhansky (10/1 Best Priced) - Ridden by a useful claimer, this step up to a mile looks like natural progression having finished 2nd in the mud at Goodwood last time out. Sticking on to finish a close 2nd, pressing for the lead well over a furlong out. Has some concerns on the dip at Newmarket however.
8.40 Newmarket - Ajjaj - Ridden by Alec Voikhansky (14/1 Best Priced) & Skallyway Bayridden by Sam Hitchcott (best price 80/1) - The rank outsider of the field showed nothing on handicap debut over 6F at Sailsbury, pushing on early and weakening out of contention quite rapidly. May have needed the run but the Kempton win looks a low grade Novice stakes on form and be surprised if a Newmarket 0-75 will be within the reach. Ajjaj comes in form and is one of two for the owner who has one with Hugo Palmer and James Doyle in this race. Didnt show much on Turf previously and the Kempton win will have holes picked in it (100-1 2nd). Hasnt been any runner from the race, so early days as to the strength of the form. Drop back to six on a stiffer track is a plus as if as good on turf as artificial surface, will be sticking on which is needed at Newmarket.
I'm sure Hannon will have a few go well today and as a result I have backed 2 @ Sailsbury and 1 @ Newmarket & York.
