According to HorseRaceBase there have only been two double-figure Lily Agnes fields in the last fourteen runnings of the race and one of those was a ten-runner race! The other one was a 12-runner race.
Can't really see what possible use the stats you ask for would provide.

Don't do it, it can't win from there despite its form. I would guess about 1 in every 25 win from that draw with that many runners.
If it does win from stall 11 keep backing it as it must be a Machine.

Thanks for the replies. top2rated: I have in my mind reading somewhere that backing the outside draws in this particular race is akin to putting money down the grid and I was seeking any confirmation of this.

That Mukhmal race was a classic example of how Chester sprints tell you nothing. Mukhmal was beaten in all his subsequent races that year, the favourite finished last in three of her four subsequent runs as a 2yo and retired to stud. And the horse that finished 6th was Magical Memory, future Stewards Cup and Group race winner.

Based on the last 57 five furlong races with 10 or more.

As already said, if it wins it must be a good 'un!

Depends very much on what kind of horses are on its inside. If there are pace horses, it is going to be wide most of the way round or use too much energy to get to the front. Dropping in behind as an alternative doesn't seem great either.

I try to never bet there dave, your hard work can be undone at any time with bad luck in running. I don't even watch the replays for notebooking. I've got Royal Dress and Lakota Blue in the 3.45 but I've had a win out of both and I'll let them run today.
