I asked for some money to be sent back from ladbrokes / I was told I need new ID / I am 80 yrs old and housebound now . So I don't have photo Id - I sent Council tax bill and NI on Tax form but neither any good - Have no idea what I must do now

I'm sure someone on here will be able to help you in what to me seems almost illegal.
The CON of course is not asking for anything new while I put money on !!! Only when I ask for money to be sent back

Would you have a younger family member who could help you, they are all usually experts with computers/phones
I cant get out to get any photo ID so any younger family members couldn't help !! But thank you anyway
You could try contacting the Racing Post - a headline like 'Ladbrokes refuse payout to housebound pensioner' isn't going to win them any friends.

Bloody disgusting,could understand if it was Thousands, but they let you place bets with them,get it publicised in some newspaper they deserve to be shamed.

Something that sums up the general bookmaking industry. For years your deposits were instant but your w/drawls could take 2....3.....4 days to hit your bank. Then a law came in saying that bookmakers were no longer allowed to offer the "reverse withdrawal" facility and magically you now get your w/drawls back into your bank either immediately of certainly within a few hours, so you can re deposit and crack on.
The public face of bookmakers caring about problem gamblers is a crock of disingenuine ****.
