the 1st classic is upon us and coolmore have the 1st and 2nd favs here and both have obvious chances but there are question marks concerning trip with both ,auguste rodin is bred to be better over further he is classy and aob talking him up as a triple crown contender ,he may well be but at around 7/4 he is a bit too short for me . little big bear another well bred classy 2yo who looked the real deal over 6f the question is will he be as effective over a mile and he has had a few minor setbacks also not saying he wont win but has to be doubts . chaldean looks pretty solid on last seasons form and had a run out in the greenham minus frankie who was unshipped as the gates opened, dont think he will get an easy lead a although trip should be fine . sakheer was progressive and won the mill reef in good style but he looks more about speed so also doubts about the trip . godolphin saddle 2 in noble style and silver knot and both progressive well bred types who did well last season silver knot the trip and course fine he has plenty to find on form with chaldean btn 5l plus last season but that was in a 3 runner affair and chaldean dictated it from the front and i would run a line through that run ,just inched out in a photo at the breedders cup by victoria road he has plenty of exp and a double figga price will buieke up he ticks a fair few boxes imo. i like a few cracks of the whip in these races and one at a massive ew price who may have been overlooked is charyn who is progressing well and could well have been up against a very good un in issacc shelby in the greenham btn 3l on soft ground the step up to a mile could suit and he can be backed at around 50/1 ew 4 places most firms which looks too big imo.tom marquand up and this lightly raced colt could suprise a few . SELECTIONS SILVER KNOT 12/1 & CHARYN 40/1 BOTH A BIT BIGGER ON HERE EW /WIN AND PLACE GOOD LUCK OPINIONS ENCOURAGED.
good luck paul charyn is obviously a speculative one and has a good bit to find on ratings but looks to be progressing and should be better suited by ground conditions and i noted he was keeping on well last time and the extra furlong could bring more improvement and a fair few of these might not get the trip he should be staying on and could outrun his odds.

Good luck Foyles...probably all those running will do well in their right grade this season. Noticed Karl Burke said his £50 e/w would go on Flight Path. Tried a little e/w at the 35/1 with 7 places on B365 last night.

Yes,good luck Foyles with those two selections, funny that Karl Burke would go for Flight Plan because he has Soumillion on Holloway Boy a horse that shouldn’t beat the fav on 2 yr old form, but I think he he quietly confident of a good run.

If the Palace House is any guide it looks like there is now a massive draw bias towards the high numbers - whatever comes closest to stands rail will win imo.
