That's what it was until the white paper came out on Thursday - make too many deposits, and you're punished with a deposit limit. But the OP has been punished with a loss limit, which suggests that they're now following the white paper guidelines: lose £1,000 in a day or £2,000 in three months, and you'll be slapped with a loss limit of apparently £750/month. So you can't get around it by building up deposits. |

loss limits surely won't work on the exchange unless they limit exposure, which will damage the laying side far more than the backing.

PaddyPower account is locked as well. With them i am a mug Saturday punter - £10 on football acca and £10 on horses. Must be linked? Do you have a Billies account? Then that will be suspended too, presumably. This is what they've just brought in, the so-called "Single Customer View Policy": https://www.williamhill.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/29040 This privacy notice explains how Participating Operators in the GamProtect trial project use your personal data. You can see which operators are participating in the GamProtect trial project by going to the Participating Operators section of this notice. |
|
By:
GamProtect is a project to ensure that people who display high-risk behaviours are protected from gambling related harm to their health. To do this Participating Operators that provide online gambling products will take steps to identify customers who they believe should not be gambling and share some key customer information with the GamProtect system. Participating Operators will use GamProtect to identify whether the same customer has an account with them and proceed to close their account to reduce the potential for harm.

@geoffbanksbet If you bet with Betfair, now trialling single customer view? You're not smart. You're a total fool If THEY identify you as vulnerable they will share that with 'Gamprotect' and you will be banned from any operator signed up to this! |
|
By:
atn1963
As it looks as though you've falling 'victim' to this single view policy where if they identify you as being "vulnerable", then you will be stopped from betting with any bookmaker signed up to this, what is the process now, what have they said to you with regards to getting access to your accounts back? |
