got a text of a pal of mine yesterday asking if i fancied a day at Catterick today, jumped at the chance, I was treated to a seafood platter in the new owners and members stand, and very nice it was too.
No one thought in a million years thought the horse would come in placed so it was very surprising that it came first at 33/1 and at some points was being offered at 50/1, not to mention disappointing that not one of had a penny on it
, we made up for it by toasting the horse with a glass of champagne in the winners connection room.
first time at Catterick for 20 years but i will definitely be back, well run and friendly track
