old men fall off easier. His presence can only reduce the horses chance in the Guineas as will the experience of galloping loose yesterday. Not sure who decided to give him the ride on such an important horse but it was clearly the wrong one.

Winning on the horse last year is not the point. He has only been in the country a few days from the US etc. so can't possibly have had time to get to know the horse at home so why not use the top class jockeys (Murphy, Probert etc.) who ride them out every day?

The only problem with Frankie was that McCrirrick, the oldfart. He did not understand the lad at any early age. I did. I taught him and sent him in the right direction.
