Trainers need a license and staff. We are not back in the 19th century when stable staff were locked up and sacked for speaking to anyone outside the yard. If there was major rule breaking, it would soon leak out.

Sageform, I wouldnt mind betting there have been lots of punters lately that have quickly looked at the form of of a race and seen DFD name by a runner and completely ignored it due to his historically poor record. Are they wrong not to have read further into the story to find out that perhaps he is training in " name only " after being taken over by what seems like some of the shrewdest outfits around. ?

He must be a decent price for the trainers championship .
