It's obvious that if the 3rd had finished 2nd the fptp would've been thrown out, but because the Stewards didnt feel good giving the undeserving runner up the win they bodged it.
In other words the fptp benefitted by causing massive interference. |

The rules are ridiculous. Lightly touch another horse and win in a photo you get chucked, cause carnage and win by a comfortable margin you very likely keep the race. That's not how it should be but that's how it is.

I see that Ryan Moore got a 2 day ban but not for this ride but for his ride in the 1st on Brighter. Moore was found guilty of careless riding.
Stewards came to the conclusion that his swerve across Shamwari didn't affect the result. Moore said horse swerved to go back to the entrance gate and was pulling up in front. The fact Moore stated the horse was pulling up in front should have had no bearing on the result of the stewards enquiry imo, i really don't know how the stewards could say for definite that the result was not affected, didn't affect the 2nd but clearly affected the 3rd. |

Don't know how many stewards were in attendence but one of them reconsed on both enquiries. What about the fact there was no objection from Joseph to his father Adrian, could it be as both horses are mainly owned by the same people, they just thought doesn't matter, a very unsatisfactory state of affairs imo.

I think stewards in UK and Ireland deem the result to just involve the winner.
