Simple explanation

It was my nap in the daily comp

I thought losing favourites - along with winners - were among those horses routinely dope-tested?

Never jumped properly, in trouble from an early stage. Had it in an Exacta with the winner.

What does that mean to lose his action?

8/11 to 11/10

Seems like it wasn't tested!

A horse that starts out as an odds-on fav runs like a dog and is not tested I ask you really?

Maybe it had the pig tranquiliser that is going about. azaperone

why was it favourite in the first place? Stable 0 from 6, the race it ran in only 12 days previous was very weak. Cobden at Wincanton has a huge following so that seems the main reason it was backed. Still should have been tested though.
