Layers out to get it. Big question does it cope with the ground?
Her form has gone between the very good and the very bad. She has disappointed on both good and soft ground. On her best performances she is much better than today's opposition.
Her first time out record is good, and if you just looked at pedigree you would expect her to cope. I have put her up in the tipping competition, but I couldn't part with any money even if she drifted to 2/1.
This is a big class drop from the Group 1s, that she ran in last year. Beating Tuesday in the Irish 1000 Gns is particularly good form. She probably wasn't quite right when coming back for an Autumn campaign and these defeats may not have been entirely due to do the softer going. I just think she is going to be too good for them today.

"A win here would give her some black type against the horses. That looks the plan."
Umm, no of course that's not the plan and nothing could be further from the truth. As a Classic winner by Frankel and out of a Dubawi Listed-winning mare she's already priceless. Plus, her owners would never sell her and will add her to their broodmare band. What she does on the track going forward is practically irrelevant - she already has everything and has nothing to prove.

A sad state of affairs if gaining black type means every subsequent run is irrelevant.
Jane Mangan suggesting Homeless Songs actually wants soft ground. If that was the case then surely she would be 1/2 rather than 2/1?

As regards Homeless Songs really poor from horse and jock. Again he has conceded two cheap lengths to the winner, and to compound things hasn't looked overly bothered about winning inside the final furlong. If Hayes doesn't win on the bridle then most of the time it isn't going to happen. Punters should be wary given that Weld looks to have a couple of decent ones this season.
