Has anyone signed up to any of these horse racing stats sites? Racing-bet-Data another one I have come across but not used.
Used Inform Racing for the last 8/9 months, but it is not as good as it used to be. Issues with forecast prices not appearing, non runners not being updated - all of which impact system selections. So, horses are not being flagged as selections due to the aforementioned issue then they appear post race as selectons when the non runners are updated for example. The quality has dropped unfortunately.
Wondering has anybody used anything else then would recommend?

I have used both horseracebase and flatstats. horseracebase now the better as new features being introduced while flatstats stagnated and the owner seemed to think he was doing people a favour by running the site.

Thanks Dave, Flatstats sounds a bit like Inform. Owner seems to have taken the foot off the pedal a little. I may look into horseracebase.

I am sorry you think that FlatStats has stagnated. That is not the case I can assure you. We did take some time out during the racing shutdown in 2020 but we are still going strong, and this is after being online for 23 years! We have added loads of new features in the past couple of years, the latest being full 20 years worth of stats on our stats pages and System Builder. We are always innovating, bringing new features such as WCMI, HHI figures to the site, whilst other sites still have not even used the A/E stat. We also like quirky stuff. Some sites may have basic 'longest traveller stats' we go further and offer the number of miles travelled and the time taken to get to the horse via horsebox type stats. Another unusual stat we have that equivalent sites may not have is Breeder stats. We have more system builder filters and reports than other sites and I challenge anyone to find a site that can generate such a comprehensive report as fast as we can. Maybe you have not visited the site for a while, and want to take a look around and see the changes? |

errr he didn't mention flatstats, I did. They must have a search engine alert, that alerts them when they are mentioned on a website.

Thank you Different Gravy 12. I have posted in the blog section previously. I tend to stay away from the forum because there's too many bun fights, as this one seems to have turned into.
Not getting involved with this one but I do have the right to reply to posts like dave1357s and Sundance-Kid's where they question the FS site. |

whatever OP was asking a genuine question, I gave my genuine thoughts on the sites I've used and Maria/Phil thought I was dissing them so replied - though it would have been more constructive if they'd asked why I held that opinion.
