There was piece in the RP about him retiring from training the other day, and it sounded ominous when they reported that he'd been moved into a nursing home. He had a bad accident a couple of years back or so when schooling a 2YO in the starting stalls, which had left him in a bad way. |

Onlooker i went to Sandown in 91 with a mate Lucedao finished 2nd in a claimer and my mate wanted to claim and asked me to go halfs but i talked him out of it which was a big mistake RIP John.

Never shied away from a Spearing horse for my Placepot. Odd thing was they were either 5f sprinters or 3m+ chasers. He had a talent for both.
