thanx very much for two fantastic responses there...
as always RTV can do no wrong...
not the first time i have seen some very iffy things going on in Ireland...
dodgy camera angles on many many occasions (probably the host broadcaster at fault as opposed to RTV imv)...
at Thurles they have a high camera at the end of the back straight and amazingly enough on many occasions they either choose not to use it or it doesn't work (probably the former)...
i remember one recent meeting where they didn't use it all day until a horse got loose and amazingly enough they showed us the view from said camera (so why not use it before then ?)...
i remember once at Wexford the head honcho in the van showed a head on as they came to the final furlong (which was probably the fault of the Irish broadcaster and not RTV itself tbf)...
but the speed up splodge most certainly is down to RTV...
they made a mistake in the Limerick race halfway through the race which gave the game away...
quickly rectified it of course but the cat is very much out the bag...
i remember shortly after an RTV speed up pics at the Curragh were as fast as they had ever been...
didn't last long tho...
quickly slowed up and were never returned to the fast speed apart from the odd error from the lad in the van...
why don't they want folk sat at home getting the fastest possible pictures ?
laughable really.
and if any head honcho at RTV doesn't know about this then i suggest you start asking a few Q's from the folk on the ground in Ireland.

oh and i see RMG has a new chairman coming soon...and a former Flutter man...how interesting...https://igamingbusiness.com/people/people-moves/conor-grant-to-join-racecourse-media-group-as-chairman/
I have to say that i have learnt to use a smaller bank when betting on most Irish races after many bitter lessons learnt the hard way over the years - it's still happening and the policing appears inadequate.

it's 'we'll do what we want...we'll do what we want...we're in charge of the buttons...we'll do what we want' time.
and nobody at RTV seems to give a t0$$ or it would have been rectified by now.

just remembered other strange things happening in Ireland...
took them ages to show stills on the line when it was a close finish...
still think even now it can take them ages or they don't even show it...
all very strange imv.

so if BLV is a millisecond behind 'live' on track why would you go to the track ?
that just doesn't make sense...
and Taunton is a long way from where i live so i'm probably better off sat in my own home with a millisecond disadvantage...
and also i am talking about RTV (Ireland) and not RTV (UK)...
two completely different scenarios.
if you wanna play in-running you should still go to the track. The video at Taunton today was a milli-second behind live on track-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
as ever when it comes down to things going on in vans at the track MR.Hunt uses deflection tactics to say 'nowt going on here mate'...
i remember him once saying that he knew some lads who work in the vans and none of them had ever heard of in running on Betfair...
you're loyalty is lovely to see Mr.Hunt...
you can fool some of the people some of the time...
you can't fool all of the people all of the time tho.

very surprising the lack of interest from anyone that RTV (Ireland) denies BLV users the fastest possible pictures when they could easily give us them (as they mistakenly did at Limerick yesterday)...
probably coz most folk either ain't interested in Irish in running or they use drone coverage...
maybe a few on here are scared to acknowledge that it happens i suppose...
strange.
anyway my RTV subscription won't be getting renewed so they've lost my money each month...
they'll sill be able to sponsor journeyman jockey Paul Mulrennan tho...
how starnge.
