lol...ive long thought this is a scam . maybe some old films from a shut down course spruced up . possibly the same horses switched around until they are tired out . has anyone seen a crowd there ?...i might test them out by joining as a member next year . think they have recipricols at phoenix park , tralee and folkestone .

Nothing wrong with Will Rogers, good track that kept us all going during the first lockdown in 2020.

Yes jimnast, if of course you had an interest in American racing.  One of the only courses still operating at the time although whether they should have done is another matter.

To be honest I didn't think your question was meant to be taken seriously.

The answer to the original question is 'bit of both'. The race I suspect you watched was restricted to horses bred in Oklahoma, not exactly a hot bed of leading studs. So the horses are very moderate and a lot of them are owned by the local people that bred them.

Good morning anorak the race came on straight after the 700 at Wolverhampton at first I thought  I was watching it in slow motion.

Interesting for US racing to be described as slow when you compare the times of early stages of the majority of races with ours.

thats hardly a valid comparison. they are bred and trained for speed and dirt is mde for it. and getting out and away is prized as it avoids the orrible kickback and its usually very attritional and the last one wiv any legs is the one that prevails

none of this riding a race malarkey. pity they ever put down dirt-it was an anti-colonial thing apparently but i doubt you would do it now if starting off. the casualty rate is indefenible
