Fast funds is something that needs to be picked up by the bank and this would not be guarenteed from our end, even though often successful

It sometimes gets rejected for reasons we would not be completely sure of
This would go through standard withdrawal timeframe of 2-5 working days in that case, saying that you do have fast funds active and it could arrive within 24 hours

That is both awful English and grammatical NONSENSE - as well a being Contradictory statement (in the context of what you wished to do)

Those points being the reason for my post.

Your Word - "WITHDREW" - implies  that YOU have WithDRAWN  £499 FROM BETFAIR ... 

Thus leaving you with Bobbins in your Betfair Account - and, therefore, UNABLE to have "£500 on it".

It appears that you may mean  - "Withdrew" .... From Your "Savings Account" ... in which case - THAT can ONLY MEAN ...

to then - DEPOSIT INTO Betfair ... and - Not your continually used and Incorrect "WITHDREW"

You do NOT and CANNOT - "WITHDREW" - INTO Betfair.

He had no funds in his bank account. He expected the £500 he withdrew today to be in his bank already so that he could deposit it back to Betfair tonight!

I’m guessing you don’t do online banking, Stew? Does that mean the grand you withdrew yesterday had to be withdrawn in cash and deposited into another account?

Steady steve. The 1k I withdrew yesterday was immediately transferred into my savings account. The approx. 500 was withdrawn earlier today. I just presumed it was in my account as per Betfair policy of being able to withdraw 1k every day if you wish. If you look at Betfair's reply to my query I can only blame the banking system. That said, I have withdrawn money at the weekend plenty times before and straight into my account.

*when I withdrew the 500 I had no intention of having a bet today but fancied my first selection hence my query to BF as to why the 500 was not in my account. It should have been but glitches happen. 1.01 it's in my account tomorrow.
