Howard mate, if you look at the replay it seems the last fence was not a factor, the jink to the left on the flat seems to be the problem but as a keen rider in my earlier days (! ) it happened fairly often, maybe not at that speed in my case I will give you !

horse defo jinked slightly left thats obv caught him off balance..easy to criticise as an observer but as never ridden a hoarse i'd imagine standing on your toes it woodnt be difficult to lose your balance.

I think though you would expect a Pro rider to stay on board there,don't think it was deliberate though.
