As are Fergal O’Brien and Adrian Heskin, who team up with AUTONOMOUS CLOUD in the three-mile novice handicap chase at 3:35.
This bumper winner has come second in each of his last four runs, one in a hurdle and three over fences, but has been getting steadily better along the way and should be there or thereabouts once more.
There is just a chance that the last furlong or two found him out when he was beaten by his stable-companion Tip Top Cat at this course in January, but this contest is at a quarter of a mile shorter in any case. Autonomous Cloud is a decent enough price all told.
