This meeting does a great job carrying on the festival vibe, when it would be all too easy to rest from cheltenham and have a quiet day off.
Is anyone from the forum going today? How much crowd does it attract 10,000?
I always remember it as the big away meeting when I went to the Bonvilston and Llantwit Major point to points in the late seventies as a teenager.

I was there one year and overheard a woman say ''my friend who is an expert has told me to back the horse with the biggest bottom''
I thought, ''it's a pity you aren't running young lady, you could have backed yourself. You've got a bigger bum than that lot.''
