I don't know where the 'cut-off' figure is, or whether it's restricted to certain markets.
I can see the whole of the Oaks AP market (20 runners). But the Derby shows 10 (+ 'Show more'). |

MY OS is W11 and eye get to see whole field without seeing/hitting any "show more" button.

My guess is the cut-off (for me) is 20. The next biggest field I can find is 24, and that has 10 + show more. Anything 20 or less I see in full.

I have just Checked the Masters GOLF Market .... Everything is absolutely NORMAL - as Forever 87 Selections ------------- Can you answer my question, please ... - and this is extremely Relevant ... When you are Presented with the 'SHOW MORE RUNNERS' Box - Do you THEN - LOSE the Right-Hand Vertical SCROLL BAR ? - and/or - Co you find that that you CANNOT Scroll the Market Downwards (in order to Display More Runners) - by [b]Using your MOUSE middle Wheel[b]. If so - then that is truly Awful. |

No, scroll bar still, and functions normally. When I press 'Show more', I see exactly the screen I would want to see in the first place.
It's disconcerting, because when landing on such a race (with a 'show more'), the first thought is that either there are few runners, or the market is not fully formed. |

So- To try and get to the Nuts & Bolts of this ...
You still have the VERTICAL SCROLL Bar showing - But - presumably .... It will Not work - WITHOUT - Activating 'SHOW MORE Runners'? - Otherwise you would not have an Issue - or ... Does the Scroll Bar work - WITHOUT having to Activate the 'Show More Runners' Box ... meaning - The 'Show More Runners' Box/Display/Message is, therefore - merely an annoyance? |

Have to hit 'show more' to see the rest of the field.
Scroll bar there all the time, but until the 'Show more' has been pressed (so that it then gets replaced with a 'Show less' button), the scroll only takes you down to see various logos, no more runners. |

on the microsoft edge it shows the top ten horses in races that have more than 18 runners.and then shows the show more box for the remainder of the field.
on Google chrome the page is minimized to half a page and the right side of the page can not be seen.vertical scroll bar and all settings are off screen and you can not click on them.if you try to pull the page to the right a message appears saying windows 7 is not updating.Google Keep taking chrome away and replacing it with Google gg.and it will not work either. all pages on all sites are minimized an all settings are off screen.hope this helps  |

I have old 11-inch Chromebook that eye tried seeing this (mythical) "show more" button on = FAILED.
I also have old 12-inch 2in1 laptop/tablet(W10) that I tried with,, in desktop mode as well as tablet mode = FAILED. |

When a customer logs into betfair, a sign appears saying switch to this new tab,i think the guys who switch to the new tab end up in the google prison where the have to work on the show more button.

Could it be that you see it if you have ever used a phone to access Betfair? I did a few times about 10 years ago. It's quite possible that Betfair would hold a variety of flags in their profiles of users (as any bookie would do), and there could be one for 'mobile user', that, once set, never gets unset. Just a theory.

i don't understand it,i placed a bet on a German division 2 game,when i return to google,a copy of bet is displayed on the main front page of google under the betfair logo.it just lets me know what was the last bet i placed on betfair.

I logged out, and got the same result - ie 'Show more' on a field > 20. However, I then deleted Betfair cookies, and tried again, without logging back in, and....full list, no 'Show more' !! Then logged in, and got the 'Show more'. So, seems definitely tied to my user id. |

Seems this 'feature' has been removed, hopefully for good.
I guess either it was installed by mistake, or they got negative feedback from the 'select few' who were the unpleasantly surprised unlucky recipients. I now see full field for Grand National, and Masters Golf. No 'Show More' button. |

This might be the wrong place to ask but is the Betfair Horse Racing data on a tablet in mobile format or desktop format? There are small differences: mobile has sort by odds whereas desktop enables multiple bets to be placed simultaneously.
