What's going on this week. Has had a terrible season comes to Cheltenham week and hey presto.
Having looked finished in the King George that's the best I have seen from Envoi Allen. Cruised round on the bridle, and with the exception of the fourth last his jumping was really accurate.
The same couldn't be said for Shishkin who was all over the place.

Lovely fella, great jockey, game horse, wonder if the huge gamble will come of later.

Smashed on too. Wonder the difference in training for this than say Kempton where he was a dog.
There was a fair gamble on that 12/1-13/2 over the last couple of days whereas the bookmakers couldn't give away Shishkin at 1/1.
Bet 365 having given away on Constitution Hill certainly caught up with Edwardstone and Shishkin. Can see them making it three with Galopin Des Champs.

Henry comes strong for this meeting. Had a good weekend at home over the weekend. Wouldn't be the greatest of surprises if his run well tomorrow in both the AB and the GC.
the horse was very strong in the market for the king george i seem to remember backing him at around 7\1 at the 24 hour stage i thought his down royal performance gave him a good chance in an average king george, sp 4/1
I'm so glad for the De Bromhead family and Blackmore. They are genuine and proper.
You could not find greater polar opposites than that and the King George performance.............
I'd say Willie was gutted that Allaho couldn't run after watching that race today
